We had a lovely inaugural Stumptown Dinner at Maya's Taqueria, thank you to everyone that came out. We had a wonderful turnout of seven folks who enjoyed some wonderful grilled prawns and fantastic company.

Please join us at Thai Peacock for our next dinner on Wednesday, June 1st at 6:30pm. The Thai Peacock is located at 219 SW 9th Ave, easily accessible via public transportation.

As with all Stumptown Dinners, all are welcome. No invitation is needed, and please bring any friends or family you care to. We hope to see you there!

Welcome to Stumptown Dinners! Please join us for our first gathering on Tuesday May 17th, 2011 at 8pm. We will be meeting at Maya's Taqueria at 1000 SW Morrison St. in downtown Portland.

All are welcome. Stumptown dinners will meet twice a month, with restaurants selected by participating members. If you would like to select a restaurant, simply attend a gathering and suggest it. The criteria for restaurants are:

1) The restaurant must be accessible by public transportation.

2) The restaurant must have an in-house dining area.

3) There must be options of $10 or lower.

We strongly encourage independently owned establishments. Please consider joining us for some wonderful company and excellent food. We appreciate RSVPs via responses to this blog.
